Be Anonymous Technologies, Inc. (“BatApps”) considers your privacy paramount, and we take great care in keeping the information of our users private and secure. This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures regarding the information that we collect when you use BatApps, BatLine, BatSMS, or any of our other applications, software and websites (the “Services”), as well as how we use, disclose, protect and share your information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third party services that are not under Be Anonymous Technologies’ control; those parties’ services are governed by their own privacy policies.

We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully as it will help you to make informed decisions about sharing your personal information with us.

Please keep in mind when reading this Privacy Policy that the Services do not store your content. Your files and data are always in your control. The Services encrypt and protect your content on your own device — including the separate profile BatApps creates and everything kept inside it — but we do not store that content and we cannot read it. This Privacy Policy outlines how we protect metadata about your content and your interactions with Be Anonymous Technologies’ services.

Types of Personal Information Collected

We may collect personal information from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when you visit our website, place an order, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available through the Services.

(a) Information collected through our software and services

Be Anonymous Technologies develops and operates cutting-edge data security solutions that aim to give users complete control of their digital information.

If you request information about our software or services, we’ll collect information that identifies you so that we can respond to your request. Likewise, in the course of subscribing to our software and services, we’ll collect personal information so that we can fulfill your subscription and provide you with any related service support. This means you may need to upload certain information about yourself – for example, items from registrations and transactions (such as your name, phone number or e-mail address). Payments are processed by the app stores, which do not pass us your card number or other payment details. We will also keep copies of any communications you have with us.

(b) Information collected through our website and other means

We may also collect information about you when you visit our website (such as electronic communications protocols, IP addresses, web pages visited on our website), or when you correspond with us by post, email or telephone.

We also collect device specific information, such as hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, browser type and language preferences. The Services do not use the Android or iOS advertising identifier.

Where a site of ours uses cookies at all, they are limited to what is strictly necessary to deliver that site. You can find out more about this in the ‘Cookies’ section below.

Text Messaging (SMS) Privacy and Compliance

Be Anonymous Technologies, Inc. provides 1-to-1 conversational proxy and private routing services via the BatLine mobile application. We prioritize the absolute protection of consumer communication data.

No Sharing of SMS Consent Data: No mobile information or SMS consent data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories of data sharing exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.

Opt-In and Consent Tracking: Mobile numbers collected for user account verification, provisioning, and registration are utilized strictly to facilitate the functional 1-to-1 communication loop authorized by the end-user. We do not engage in automated text blasts, algorithmic text outreach, or cold SMS marketing.

Opt-Out Mechanisms: External recipients communicating with a BatLine proxy number maintain total control over their data footprint. Recipients can reply with the standard keyword STOP at any time to instantly dissolve the text bridge, terminate communication, and block that virtual number from further routing.

Purposes

When you provide personal information to us through our software and services, we use it primarily to deliver our Services to you.

We also collect and use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To develop, operate, improve, deliver, maintain and protect our Services,
  • to communicate with you
  • to enhance the safety and security of our Services
  • to collect and handle feedback,
  • to improve customer service,
  • to comply with applicable laws and legal processes,
  • to enforce our terms and conditions and other usage policies,
  • to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or others, and to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit any damages that we may sustain.

Disclosures

Be Anonymous Technologies may disclose information to the following types of third parties:

  • Third party service providers, Be Anonymous Technologies does not share personal information with service providers for any purpose other than operating or administering the Services — for example, the providers that host our servers or process billing. We do not share it with them for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Law Enforcement, as we believe to be necessary or appropriate, we may disclose personal information: (a) under applicable laws, including laws outside your country of residence; (b) to comply with legal process; (c) to respond to requests from public and government authorities, including public and government authorities outside your country of residence, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements; (d) to enforce our terms and conditions; (e) to protect our operations or those of any of our affiliates; (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or others; and (g) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
  • Others, Be Anonymous Technologies may disclose personal information to a third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets, or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

International Transfers

Be Anonymous Technologies’ servers are located in the USA. If you are a non-US resident, this will mean that your personal information will be transferred to the US.
Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we do so under an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and require any recipient to provide a comparable level of protection.

Retention of Personal Information

Be Anonymous Technologies has the right, but not the obligation, to retain and use such information stored in our databases and other information obtained from your current or previous interactions with the Services for a reasonable period of time, not exceeding any legal requirements or limitations, to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce Be Anonymous Technologies’ rights and the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.

Be Anonymous Technologies implements advanced security to safeguard the privacy of transmissions over public networks. Be Anonymous Technologies hosts the Services in a secure environment using preventive, detective and corrective technology and processes to safeguard information from attackers. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of data.

If you do not wish to receive marketing emails from us, you may use the unsubscribe option at the bottom of our emails to opt out.

Be Anonymous Technologies will attempt to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that if you opt-out of receiving marketing-related messages from us, we may still send you important administrative messages regarding our Services, from which you cannot opt-out.

We acknowledge the right of EU and Swiss individuals to access their personal data. Where we collect personal information on our own behalf, and not on behalf of our customers, you may at any time request to have incomplete, incorrect, unnecessary or outdated personal information deleted or updated by contacting Be Anonymous Technologies, Inc. We will also grant individuals reasonable access to personal information that we hold about them, though such requests may be subject to a fee specified by applicable law. Please note that by requesting Be Anonymous Technologies to delete your personal information, we may not be able to provide you the Services you have inquired about or ordered.

Individuals wishing to access, change or no longer desire our Services, may view, correct, update of discontinue the use of our Service or delete it by making the change on emailing us at support@digitaljoyride.com. We will respond to your request to access within 30 days.

Be Anonymous Technologies will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you Services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
